1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this QR code generator tool (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Service is a free, client-side QR code generation and scanning tool. Key characteristics:
- No data collection — All processing happens locally in your browser. Data you enter never leaves your device.
- No hosted content — We do not store, host, or distribute any QR codes or the data encoded within them.
- No user accounts — No registration, login, or user profiles are required.
- Static QR codes only — Generated codes encode data directly into the QR pattern. We do not operate redirect servers, tracking services, or dynamic QR infrastructure.
3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You are solely responsible for:
- The content you encode into QR codes using this Service.
- How you distribute, display, or otherwise use the generated QR codes.
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to create QR codes that encode, link to, or facilitate:
- Illegal content or activity under any applicable jurisdiction.
- Malware, ransomware, viruses, or any code designed to harm devices or networks.
- Phishing, fraud, or deceptive schemes designed to obtain sensitive information from others.
- Hate speech, harassment, or content that incites violence against individuals or groups.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving the exploitation of minors.
- Unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data (hacking tools, credential theft).
- Distribution of counterfeit goods or illegal products and services.
- Any activity that violates the laws of the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or your local jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to deny service to any user or IP address found to be violating these terms. We also reserve the right to report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its design, code, and branding — is our intellectual property. However, QR codes you generate using the Service are your own property. We claim no ownership over the data you encode or the QR code images you create.
You are free to use, modify, distribute, and commercially exploit QR codes generated with this tool for any lawful purpose, subject to the prohibited uses in Section 4.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- QR codes generated will be readable by all scanning devices or applications.
- The Service is suitable for any specific use case, including but not limited to medical, safety-critical, or financial applications.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Because the Service processes data entirely within your browser and does not store or transmit your data, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. No claim may be brought against us based on the content you or any third party encodes into a QR code using this tool.
8. DMCA & Copyright Infringement
Although the Service does not host user-uploaded content, we respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that the Service is being used to facilitate copyright infringement, please contact our designated DMCA agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and sufficient information to locate it.
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
9. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter a QR code generated using this Service that you believe violates these terms or applicable law, please report it to us with the following information:
- The QR code image or a description of where you found it.
- The specific concern (e.g., phishing, malware, illegal content).
- Your contact information for follow-up (optional).

10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. However, this tool is available globally, and we do not actively target users in any specific jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable local law.
